This tablet was recently launched and the first of its kind to feature the latest Google Android 4.0 OS. The Novo7 is powered by 1 GHz processor. The tablet will enter the US markets in coming months with a price tag of $99 ( approx Rs. 5,000). No word as to when it will reach the Indian Markets. More powerful than the Aakash tablet, something to watch for.

Aakash Tablet (Now available) 

This is the world’s cheapest tablet a made in India product. There is no official word about when this tablet will be available in the Indian markets. Though there are many sites with options to pre-order the Aakash tablet, but you should avoid those sites. This tablet is powered by 366 MHz processor and runs on android 2.2 OS. Not powerful enough but does the work.
Price Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 2,999 for upgraded version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor and running on Android 3.2 OS the tablet screen size is 7.0 inches and comes with front and rear facing cameras.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

This tablet too will come with android 3.2 OS and powered by a 1.4 GHz processor. The touchscreen is 7.7 inches and this tab will also come with 2 cameras.

Toshiba AT200

This tablet sports a 5 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera. The AT200 comes loaded with the latest Android 3.2 OS and houses a 10.1 inch screen.
